PART II of European Charter of Sustainable Tourismo is base on local businesses. The aim is to promote an eco-tourism development model enabling a better management of the territory and improving a social network.
Given the large number of certified Italian parks, the Europarc Federation strongly supported the launch of PART II also in Italy. Challenge taken by Federparchi and embodied in a strategy to accompany Protected Areas. The experimental start-up involved our Park directly with the companies of the territory certified with the Park Quality brand.
In 2015, at the Cantine Ferrari in Trento, 21 Park Quality Companies were officially awarded, first in Italy, the CETS attestation in the presence of Mauro Gilmozzi, Councilor for infrastructure and environment of Pat and Giampiero Sammuri, president of Federparchi-Europarc Italy. To date in Europe there are about 450 local companies attested, distributed in 25 protected areas between Spain, France, United Kingdom, Finland and Italy.
In the Adamello Brenta Nature Park the CETS PART II certification was joined to the Park Quality Brand project, both regulated by a single regulation.
