In Val di Tovel, just upstream from Malga Pozzol, going up towards Malga Flavona, in a wonderful landscape, is the Pozzoi waterfall on the Santa Maria Flavona river.
The Rio Santa Maria Flavona makes only Pozzoi waterfall and then continues, at times disappearing, due to karst phenomena. Those waters reach Lake Tovel along with other underground springs.
