A spectacular drop of the Sarca stream, perhaps the highest in the valley: it is the wonderful Pedruc waterfall, which flows over centuries of erosion, over the work of file, scraper and roller of the ice.
The Pedruc Waterfall is part of a beautiful path that offers pleasant walks in a green environment dotted with impetuous waterfalls.
Here the vegetation, grown luxuriant, hides the shapes of the valley, witnesses of the glaciers that in ancient times have shaped it. A glacier behaves like a plastic mass that runs downwards like lava, but much slower. In its slow flow it abrades and models the underlying rocks, uprooting large blocks of rock. This is how the immense tonalitic step was originated. And from it, mount Pedrùc launches into the sky.
