Lake Malghette Alto, better known as lake Pradalago, is a small basin with an irregular shape, of limited size and modest depth. It lies at 2082 meters behind the Viviani Pradalago mountain hut, near the ski lift.

Lake Malghette Alto or Pradalago is a natural terrace from which on clear days you can enjoy splendid views of the Brenta Dolomites. Although you can notice the ski lifts, the environment is always fascinating.

The lake undergoes frequent seasonal variations in the water level. On the bottom there are considerable accumulations of organic debris. While close to the banks there are frequent accumulations of filamentous green algae. In some places there are also submerged mosses.
