It is a small secluded lake and little known even if not far away from the most famous and popular S. Giuliano lakes. It is located in a sparse larch wood formed by young plants with the typical association of larch – rhododendron – blueberry all around.

Lago di Lamola is a quiet lake with a modest depth (less than 5 m). On the surface you can notice sparse patches of Sparganium angustifolium, an aquatic plant also known as floating bur-reed. It is a plant with narrow, linear leaves that create elegant forms on the water.

A visit to the lake and the surrounding area is recommended for people with a good sense of orientation and who love solitary and peaceful places.

Not far away lies the Malga di Lamola, now equipped as a shelter for hunters in the area.
