A few meters from the small hut you can see the waterfall in a beautiful natural setting.

Val Genova is made like a “Giants’ Ladder” with flat stretches and sudden steps of 50 meters in height. An example is the cascade of Casìna Muta, which takes its name from the small isolated hut in the adjacent pastures. This drop of water is not among the most powerful, but the natural context that accompanies the visitor along the Waterfall Path is among the most beautiful and wild in the valley.

When the Sarca stream reaches its peak during warmer evenings or sudden storms, the Casina Muta waterfall becomes impetuous and it seems to be in a fairytale book with Elves and Gnomes.
